OUR SERVICE TO YOU DURING COVID-19
Based on guidance from the World Health Organization, we have augmented our already robust Business Continuity Plan with specific steps to account for COVID-19. While the situation continues to develop, we have asked our employees to work from home as a precaution. As we are a digital business, please rest assured we will maintain the high-quality customer service and technology support we pride ourselves on. Add a visual to a dedicated area of your vehicle detail page and image carousel. Use this space to inform shoppers of the services and tools, unique to your dealership, to encourage them to continue to confidently shop your inventory remotely.

Leverage video to engage with at-home car shoppers
Engage with consumers at the exact moment they want to connect with you – live and in real-time. Whether on mobile or desktop, car shoppers can instantly chat with a member of your team to get the answers they need about your inventory and dealership.
Take deposits online, from the most serious buyers
This complimentary autoTRADER.ca feature allows car shoppers to reserve a vehicle directly from your inventory listings. Accessible on your VDP, (vehicle details page), your dealership will be able to collect refundable deposits directly from marketplace shoppers.
Showcase services you’ve made available to shoppers
Complimentary Contactless Services badges for your VDPs, identifying home test drive, delivery and live chat services that your dealership offers. If your dealership provides two out of the three services, a ‘Contactless Services’ badge will also display to your listings on the SRP.
TRADER Corporation Waives 100% of Marketplace Subscription Fees
April 7, 2020 ‐ In recent days we have seen increased government regulations causing many of our customers to close or work virtually from home. As part of our continued efforts to collectively battle the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic alongside our Canadian dealer partners, we have made a decision to waive all autoTRADER.ca marketplace subscription and listing upgrade fees for the months of April and May 2020. Continue reading to see what this means for our dealers and how you can take advantage of our new Remote Selling Suite to connect with online car shoppers during this time.
