Next generation website technology is coming, thanks to TRADER’s recent acquisition of Vancouver-based digital marketing company, Convertus. The new website solutions offering – part of TRADER’s larger vision of bringing Canadian-centric digital solutions to automotive dealers nationwide –  will launch across Canada in February 2019.

TORONTO, ON – August 8, 2018 – A simple, cohesive, and Canadian-centric digital solution for automotive dealers is closer now than ever, thanks to TRADER’s strategic investment in Vancouver-based Convertus earlier this year. The acquisition of Convertus – a Canadian provider of premium web solutions and digital marketing services for automotive dealerships – is part of TRADER’s broader initiative to offer dealers nationwide a comprehensive solution that optimizes the entire consumer journey from Marketplace to Digital Ads to Websites, while providing premium technology, service, and leadership by Canadians, for Canadians.

Today, TRADER is excited to share that the new partnership means that their flexible and intuitive dealer website solution known as TAdvantage is set for a major upgrade.

“We listened to feedback from customers nationwide about the challenges they have experienced with our third-party website platform,” said Sebastian Baldwin, President & CEO at TRADER. “As part of our commitment to offer the most innovative, best-in-class products and solutions, we have joined forces with Convertus to help build our next generation, Canada-first dealer website solution.”

The new and improved TAdvantage, which will launch across Canada in February 2019, will allow TRADER to bring innovation in-house and be adaptive to what its sales and product teams see firsthand as current and future needs specific to Canadian dealers. Dealers can expect:

SUPERIOR TECHNOLOGY ON MULTIPLE LEVELS
Fast, stable, flexible and responsive
BETTER PERFORMANCE REPORTING
Holistic view of all performance
BY CANADIANS, FOR CANADIANS
Local presence in every province with native French-speaking service and support
ADVANCED INTEGRATION WITH DIGITAL CAMPAIGNS
Dynamic search, social and display ads*

With over 40 years of experience in the Canadian automotive market, TRADER’s website solutions will leverage the company’s intimate understanding of Canadian dealer and consumer needs and be focused on speed of innovation and prompt customer issue resolution.

In the interim, and until the new platform is made available, TRADER will also continue to represent Dealer.com exclusively in Canada and all dealer websites will be fully supported. At launch, existing website customers will retain all core site functionality and features and will benefit from a painless transition from the old platform to the new, improved TAdvantage.

As part of TRADER’s broader strategy to bolster digital marketing capabilities for dealers, TAdvantage will be closely integrated with the new digital advertising platform,  TRFFK, rolled out to dealers in late 2017.  The market leading advertising suite enables dealers to advertise their dealership and inventory across major Canadian media channels and seamlessly integrate creative and content from their brand.  TRFFK and TAdvantage are the initial offerings in TRADER’s comprehensive Canadian-centric digital solutions strategy.
