L\u2019une des tendances qui se pr\u00e9cise depuis quelques ann\u00e9es est la migration massive des acheteurs de berlines traditionnelles vers les gros multisegments, les VUS et les camions.<\/p>\n<p>Cela peut s\u2019expliquer en partie par le fait que les constructeurs nord-am\u00e9ricains vantent avec enthousiasme les v\u00e9hicules imposants et co\u00fbteux aupr\u00e8s du consommateur en redoublant d\u2019efforts de publicit\u00e9 et de marketing. C\u2019est probablement aussi en r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 la demande, puisque les ventes de VUS et de camionnettes en Am\u00e9rique du Nord progressent depuis cinq ans, sans signe de ralentissement.<\/p>\n<p>Certains estiment que les conducteurs se sentent plus en s\u00e9curit\u00e9 au volant d\u2019un VUS ou d\u2019un camion plut\u00f4t que d\u2019une voiture de tourisme, \u00e9tant donn\u00e9 le nombre record de v\u00e9hicules sur la route. Certains croient pour leur part qu\u2019avec une famille et l\u2019augmentation des activit\u00e9s de loisirs, ce sont la polyvalence et l\u2019aspect pratique qui seraient le plus important, alors que d\u2019autres affirment que la conduite d\u2019un v\u00e9hicule imposant est surtout une question de statut. Peu importe les raisons, cet abandon massif des petits v\u00e9hicules est clairement le r\u00e9sultat d\u2019une \u00e9volution des pr\u00e9f\u00e9rences des consommateurs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Toujours plus gros <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Selon une \u00e9tude r\u00e9cente en ligne d\u2019AutoHebdo.net aupr\u00e8s des magasineurs automobiles canadiens ayant une intention d\u2019achat d\u2019ici deux ans, pr\u00e8s du tiers (30%) des conducteurs d\u00e9clarent vouloir \u00e0 passer \u00e0 un v\u00e9hicule plus gros que leur actuel. Parmi ceux qui pr\u00e9voient passer \u00e0 un v\u00e9hicule de taille sup\u00e9rieure, pr\u00e8s de la moiti\u00e9 (48%) ont l\u2019intention de passer \u00e0 un VUS, tandis que 32% veulent passer \u00e0 un camion. Les principales raisons pour passer \u00e0 un v\u00e9hicule plus gros sont l\u2019espace de chargement suppl\u00e9mentaire, ainsi que des si\u00e8ges plus confortables et plus nombreux.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=\u00a0\u00bb20px\u00a0\u00bb][vc_single_image image=\u00a0\u00bb8420&Prime; img_size=\u00a0\u00bbfull\u00a0\u00bb alignment=\u00a0\u00bbcenter\u00a0\u00bb][vc_empty_space height=\u00a0\u00bb20px\u00a0\u00bb][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<strong>D\u00e9cisions, d\u00e9cisions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Heureusement, la performance, l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique, l\u2019offre de VUS et de camions l\u00e9gers ainsi que le style n\u2019ont jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 aussi int\u00e9ressants que maintenant. Le consommateur a maintenant l\u2019embarras du choix sur toute la gamme de prix \u2212 des mod\u00e8les \u00e9conomiques aux mod\u00e8les ultra-luxueux.<\/p>\n<p>Pourtant, cette abondance de choix pose un d\u00e9fi pour les commer\u00e7ants, qui tentent de d\u00e9terminer quelle est la meilleure combinaison de v\u00e9hicules \u00e0 stocker dans leur cour et o\u00f9 concentrer leurs efforts de marketing pour que les clients potentiels ach\u00e8tent des v\u00e9hicules plus gros.<\/p>\n<p>Selon le sondage, les VUS sont les plus populaires dans les intentions d\u2019achat (42%) des r\u00e9pondants, 64% des propri\u00e9taires de VUS disent pr\u00e9voir acheter un autre VUS, tandis que 33% des propri\u00e9taires de voiture de tourisme disent vouloir changer pour un VUS.<\/p>\n<p>Parmi ceux qui pr\u00e9voient s\u2019acheter un VUS, 62% veulent un VUS \u00e0 deux rang\u00e9es et 26% souhaiteraient un VUS \u00e0 trois rang\u00e9es. Seulement 12% ont l\u2019intention d\u2019acheter un VUS sous-compact.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=\u00a0\u00bb20px\u00a0\u00bb][vc_single_image image=\u00a0\u00bb8412&Prime; img_size=\u00a0\u00bbfull\u00a0\u00bb alignment=\u00a0\u00bbcenter\u00a0\u00bb][vc_empty_space height=\u00a0\u00bb20px\u00a0\u00bb][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<strong>Des camions et des VUS s\u2019il vous pla\u00eet<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Il n\u2019est peut-\u00eatre pas surprenant que plus de 90% des r\u00e9pondants au sondage AutoHebdo qui pr\u00e9voient acheter d\u00e9clarent que le type de carrosserie du v\u00e9hicule est un crit\u00e8re important dans la prise de d\u00e9cision, 42% le consid\u00e8rent comme \u00ab\u00a0tr\u00e8s important\u00a0\u00bb et 50% comme \u00ab\u00a0important\u00a0\u00bb. Globalement, 37% des acheteurs connaissent d\u00e9j\u00e0 le type de carrosserie qu\u2019ils veulent pour leur prochain v\u00e9hicule et ne changeront pas d\u2019avis. Cependant, 49% affirment avoir une bonne id\u00e9e du type de v\u00e9hicule qu\u2019ils veulent, mais sont ouverts \u00e0 changer d\u2019avis. Quant aux propri\u00e9taires de camion, ils sont plus susceptibles d\u2019avoir d\u00e9j\u00e0 pris leur d\u00e9cision (46%), alors ceux qui ach\u00e8teront pour la premi\u00e8re fois sont plus susceptibles d\u2019\u00eatre pr\u00eats \u00e0 changer d\u2019avis (61%).<\/p>\n<p>La taille du v\u00e9hicule est aussi un crit\u00e8re important pour la grande majorit\u00e9 (85%) des acheteurs potentiels. Mentionnons que la moiti\u00e9 (51%) des acheteurs a d\u00e9j\u00e0 d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de la taille du v\u00e9hicule qu\u2019ils veulent, mais se disent ouverts \u00e0 changer d\u2019avis. Pour vous aider, voici quelques constations tir\u00e9es du sondage d\u2019AutoHebdo.net au sujet de la fa\u00e7on dont le consommateur per\u00e7oit les v\u00e9hicules de grande et de petite taille:<\/p>\n<p>D\u00e9savantage:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Le prix d\u00e9courage plusieurs r\u00e9pondants, d\u2019autant que 50% estiment que les gros v\u00e9hicules sont plus chers et moins \u00e9conomes en carburant (48%) que les petits. Les v\u00e9hicules de grande taille sont aussi per\u00e7us comme mieux adapt\u00e9s aux familles (45%), l\u2019espace suppl\u00e9mentaire ne suffisant pas \u00e0 compenser pour le manque d\u2019agilit\u00e9 en espace restreint (27%). Il n\u2019est pas non plus surprenant que les consommateurs estiment que les v\u00e9hicules de grande taille sont aussi moins respectueux de l\u2019environnement (28%).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Avantage:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Malgr\u00e9 tout, 41% des r\u00e9pondants se sentent plus en s\u00e9curit\u00e9 dans un v\u00e9hicule imposant.
