Au premier semestre de 2025, les droits de douane ont eu pour effet de d\u00e9cupler la demande. Et si le retour des politiques f\u00e9d\u00e9rales d\u2019incitatifs \u00e0 l\u2019achat d\u2019un V\u00c9 neuf a su stimuler la demande au d\u00e9but de 2026, les r\u00e9centes tensions g\u00e9opolitiques au Moyen-Orient ont fait grimper les prix du p\u00e9trole, amplifiant encore le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne dans le neuf comme dans l\u2019occasion. Ces facteurs combin\u00e9s insufflent un nouveau dynamisme au march\u00e9 automobile.<\/p>\n<p>Le premier trimestre de l\u2019ann\u00e9e marque un \u00e9cart par rapport \u00e0 la performance du march\u00e9. En effet, selon nos donn\u00e9es transactionnelles, le march\u00e9 de l\u2019occasion d\u00e9passe les attentes et affiche une croissance mod\u00e9r\u00e9e sur un an, et ce, malgr\u00e9 la bonne performance du premier trimestre de 2025. Comme pr\u00e9vu, le march\u00e9 du neuf conna\u00eet pour sa part un ralentissement, le volume global de ventes du trimestre ayant recul\u00e9 par rapport \u00e0 la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode l\u2019an dernier.<\/p>\n<p>Quant aux prix, la dynamique demeure relativement stable. Les prix dans l\u2019usag\u00e9 &#8211; gonfl\u00e9s d\u2019environ 830$ par les droits de douane de 2025 et la hausse de la demande &#8211; ont mis 11 mois \u00e0 se normaliser. Fin mars, le prix moyen redescendait par rapport \u00e0 la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode l\u2019an dernier (-0,3%), s\u2019\u00e9tablissant \u00e0 36 713$ &#8211; le plus bas pour un mois de mars depuis 2022.<\/p>\n<p>De plus, la moyenne des prix dans le neuf descendait de 2,7% sur douze mois pour s\u2019\u00e9tablir \u00e0 62 830$. Si cette moyenne est encore en baisse depuis l\u2019an dernier, elle demeure plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e qu\u2019avant l\u2019\u00e9poque covid.
